It's true how people say that baby girls develop faster than baby boys.

Eryn turned over faster than Brendan. She sits, stand, crawls and 'talk' faster than Brendan.

She has been moving around from one place to another using her backside. No kidding! She sits and drags her butt on the floor. That was when she was around 6 months old. Now, at 8 months, she's trying to crawl by stretching her legs out, put her butts up, sometimes shaking it a little and then sit back and crawl. It's so funny seeing her. Speaking of butt-shaking, she even knows how to shake her butt from left to right while standing up to the lion dance drum beat during the CNY period.

Last night, I thought I should capture her "early crawling moments" so I can look back at the videos when I'm old one day. Mana tahu, of all days, she actually fell flat on her face and started howling loudly!

Poor girl......

alamak.. no padded flooring?

When Zara started doing this, I padded the flour heavily!

She's still wobbly, but definitely very advance!

hehe... same with me... the video always stops when the baby fell or hurt themselves :)

zara's mama, There's the ABC rubber mat under the canvas cloths, but Eryn started moving out of that place.

egghead, I think it's taboo to shoot when they're doing something right? :P

.. also, the second child onwards developments are faster than the first child.

I can see that in my second boy. He wants to be able to do whatever the bro is doing.. which truly suprises me. That is when they try learn things faster so that they can follow the bro.

It must been painful for Eryn...

Ouch!

For my case, Emily definately progress faster than Tim. She could walk at age of 1. Tim took his own sweet time, smarter so that I have to carry him longer.

whoops....ashley also has started to crawl and she has started to stand up on her own when holding onto something for support.

I think your baby pressure lah since she has to perform for camera. hahaha. Anyway, looks like she will be zipping around pretty soon. My son also started with the butt dragging. Another milestone for your baby, Woohoo!

Actually I was enjoying watching her doing her 'stunts' but suddenly 'plop' she fell ... Oooops! and oouuucch, poor Eryn, must be very painful.

I do agree with u dat, girls learn faster than boys. I've observed comparisons between girls and boys and boys are actually slower learners than boys (sorry, boy boys).

geetha, you're right. they certainly look up to their older siblings in certain ways...

chanel, you should have seen the way Eryn cried and cried so pitifully...

michelle, somehow I too think that Brendan is taking a step back so he too can enjoy similar attention given to his mei-mei..

mom2ashley, soon they'll run and pull things down from the shelves, tables, etc... Eryn's also stared opening drawers and taking things out..

lian, my mum says that I used to drag my butt as a baby. haha..

tracy, we all at home always enjoy her stunts and it's quite 'entertaining' to watch her.

Maybe its the hardworking, persevering traits that girls have and keep!
Can't believe Eryn's already 8 months plus. Must be fun with cheeky Brendan and lil cutie Eryn!
